Split into three structured chapters which explore observation, intimacy and expression, CAPTCHA is a hypnotic journey following an expressionless test subject as he seeks purpose in the mysterious facility he inhabits, encountering a peculiar woman in the process. Is it simply an elaborate stimulus test or is it something more?

The film debuted at the prestigious 39th St Kilda Film Festival in 2023, an Academy Award Qualifying event, and subsequently won the Best Sound award at the 2023 Canberra Short Film Festival. Additionally, it was showcased in a month-long exhibition at the M16 Artspace. The film garnered media attention, having been highlighted twice on Riotact, as well as featured on ABC Radio Canberra, Win News Canberra, and other media platforms.
